Making changes on my blog

I’ve been thinking about making changes on my blog for a while now.  I’m still an accountant and I’m still a mum but the mummy bits are a bit boring now. The kids still have their moments and there is always something going on with them.  Life is never so straight forward and easy but I think I’ve come to accept that (rather than moan!).

However, I think some of the hard parts of having really young kids/ babies have passed.  Now there’s still things going on but its not so new or in my opinion that interesting.  Obviously if anything interesting does come up I will blog about it but I’m thinking of refocusing my blog.  The only problem is I’m not sure what to focus on.

Accounting posts

I have been doing some accounting posts every month which is ok but not sure it’s actually that useful.  Up until the end of the year, I think I will carry on with these posts but I’m not sure if there is any point in it.  From the new year, I will most likely stop these on my blog. I still like writing about accounts and tax but I might see if I can find other more relevant places to write about it.

Book Reviews

I like reading books and as long as I do I will most likely carry on with these posts.  Plus it gets me reading books and forcing myself to almost have a break.

What else?

I will carry on with ‘My Top 5’s’ posts  At the moment, I write them as and when I find something to do a top five but I might try and do this more regularly.  There is so much information out there. You find something you like and think its amazing – such as Riverford food delivery and then you find that there are so many others already out there doing something similar.

Personal blogs will be as and when rather than having it every fortnight.

After that, I’m not so sure what else to do. Over the next few months I will probably write different posts on things that I might want to focus on and see how it goes from there.
