Happy New Year!

What a year 2016 has been for nearly everyone I know.  Let’s hope that 2017 sorts itself out and clears up the mess 2016 made and makes everyone feel better. 

The start of a new year always brings with it a promise to start a fresh and do new things and generally improve yourself and your life.  My new years resolution don’t change that much year on year but I recently found an article that I had saved from years ago. I’m not sure when I first read this article or even which magazine but I’m pretty sure it’s pre kids, so that’s almost over 7 years ago!  Anyway, after the Christmas excess, I’m sure my body needs this.

The Happy Body Prescription

  • 10 minutes of meditation a day
  • 7+ portions of fruit and veg a day
  • 4 portions of fish a week
  • 1.4 litres of water a day
  • 1 hour of fun a day
  • 35 minutes of exercise a day
  • 5+ minutes of nature a day
  • Minimal added sugar a day

As the year comes to an end it is also a good time to reflect back on the year as I did in one my previous blogs.  I also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who takes the time to come here and read my blogs.
