What Next?

I went to the new school again, this time with my daughter and I feel a lot better about it.  Not sure why it’s Ofted 2 but everyone is really friendly and smiley, my cheeks still ache thinking about it!  The children are quite well behaved and calm especially for such a big class.  I spoke to some of the teachers there and I feel that my daughter will have lots of opportunities here to do well. So only one week left at this old school!  It’s sad to be leaving such an amazing school behind but exciting too to see what this new school will be like and starting a new routine.

We’ve still not let go of clubs and nursery from near our old house.  The girls still go swimming there.  The younger daughter still goes nursery there but all of this will end in July and then from September, for the girls, everything will be around our new area, swimming and nursery and school. My travelling time will be so little.  I don’t mind driving except when you need to get somewhere on time.  And it’s such a relief not having to worry about schools.  Well not until the younger one start.  Hopefully, we don’t have to go through this whole process again!

Now that there is one less thing to worry about, I feel like I have more time to do other things.  There’s lots of work that needs to be done in the house and garden, I need to get up to date with work and CPD.  I think I’m also going to spend some more time working on my blogs.  I’m not sure what direction I want to go with my blogs but I think I’m going to update it a bit.  Make it look more organised and try and focus on a niche.  Hopefully, I’ll have more time to do that.  But at the moment, I never know what’s going to happen next.

  1. Hello Nisha,

My suggestion is just to blog than think about direction. Clearly, this is your personal blog, just take it where your day to day life takes you. With direction, you may limit yourself.

    1. That is true. I do like it as a diary style blog. Maybe I can experiment different things on here and then if it looks good or seems like it will work, create a new blog and keep this as a personal blog going too.

      Thanks for your feedback.
